Sculpture tells a story.

Welcome! I’m Tony Oviedo, a bronze sculptor based in Northern New Mexico.

At heart, I am a storyteller and mythologist. I strive to bring stories to life by making precious objects. Through narrative sculpture, I explore myth, transformation, and catharsis. I have taken the crafting of devotion deeply to heart and aim to create artifacts out of bronze that bring the spirit of goddesses, saints and heroes into life.

I cast all of my sculptures myself in my family's bronze foundry, where I’ve been pouring bronze since I was a child. The legacy of bronze casting is close to my heart, and through my work, I hope to impart this tradition to you.
